Our BUXCOMM G5RV's are factory assembled, multi-band antennas:

• Model  G5RV, with 450 ohm vertical matching section.
• To match unbalanced coax to balanced ladder-line, we include a Line ISOlator (LISO/BALUN).
• The BUXCOMM G5RV does not use traps or loading coils.
• Power Rated @ 1500 watts SSB
• Vertical Ladder-line section can run at an angle away from feed point to prevent "tail-drag'n."
• Where real-estate is limited, the G5RV may be installed as an inverted Vee.
• Although some users don't employ an antenna tuner, BUXCOMM suggests using an antenna tuner.

• The vertical, 450 ohm ladder-line section, performs a transmission line transformer (TLT) effect to provide an impedance transition at the coax feed end to 50-55 ohms.
